A) How to order from us

1.Order

We offer you the opportunity to order conveniently in our online shop. You have the option of concluding the purchase contract in German or English.

2.Payment options

  • a.Cash on delivery
    Cash on delivery shipping is carried out by Hellmann or DHL. You pay the postman directly when you receive the goods. Please note that in addition to the surcharge of 4 euros, the deliverer will charge a postal fee of 2 euros. Cash on delivery shipping is only possible within Germany.

  • b.Payment in advance
    When ordering by prepayment, the ordered goods will be dispatched as soon as the invoice amount has been credited to our bank account.

  • c.By credit card / PayPal / Sofortüberweisung
    We offer our customers the opportunity to pay by Mastercard or Visa credit card as well as by PayPal and instant bank transfer.

  • d.By financing
    We offer our customers the opportunity to finance the purchase through Targobank, provided the requirements are met. Only applies to customers residing in Germany.

Note : Please provide an email address when placing your order. You will then automatically receive a confirmation of receipt of your order with all the necessary information regarding the desired payment method.

3.Delivery

Shipping is via DHL or Hellmann. In Germany and many European countries, you can choose freely between the two logistics partners. Cash on delivery shipments are only possible with DHL. Of course, we deliver the orders to your home. If the delivery person cannot reach you, you will be notified in writing. You then have the choice of having the goods delivered again or picking up the package from a depot near you.

Partial deliveries are permitted if unavoidable.

For deliveries to non-EU countries, additional customs duties, taxes and fees apply.

B) Cancellation policy, transport damage and data protection

1. Right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly neither be attributed to their commercial nor their independent professional activity.

  • Right of withdrawal
    Consumers have a fourteen-day withdrawal.

  • Right of withdrawal
    You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period shall be fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier designated by you takes possession of the last goods.
    To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (H & S Bike Discount GmbH, Konrad-Zuse-Straße 20, 53501 Grafschaft, Germany, info@bike-discount.de, telephone: 49 (0) 2641 - 89 00 0) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but this is not mandatory.
    To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

  • Consequences of revocation
    If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choosing a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), promptly and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the goods and you chose a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us, the day on which we received your notification of the cancellation of this contract. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless something else was expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund. We may refuse to refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
    You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For goods that cannot be sent by parcel, such as bicycles (forwarding company) and bicycle batteries (dangerous goods) and cannot be returned by normal post/DHL due to their nature, these costs are 35 euros when collected by a forwarding company.

  • Special return costs for Germany, Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Austria:
    We will cover return costs from the above-mentioned countries if the value of the returned goods exceeds 50 euros.
    You must return or hand over the goods to us promptly and in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us that you have cancelled this contract. This deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.
    You only have to pay for any loss of value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling of the goods which is not necessary to check their quality, properties and functioning.

If you finance this contract with a loan and later revoke it, you are no longer bound to the loan agreement, provided that both contracts represent an economic unit. This is particularly the case if we are also your lender or if your lender uses our services as part of the financing.

If the funds from the loan have already been paid to us when the revocation takes effect, your lender will assume our rights and obligations from the financed contract in relation to you with regard to the legal consequences of the revocation or return.

The latter does not apply if this contract concerns the acquisition of financial assets (e.g. shares, foreign currencies or derivatives).

If you want to avoid a contractual obligation as far as possible, please make use of your right of withdrawal and also withdraw from the loan agreement if you are also entitled to do so.

2. Transport damage/complaints

We ask our customers to report obvious defects within one week. If transport damage is already visible externally, we ask you to check the package immediately and in any case to have the transport company issue you with a damage confirmation.

3. Dispute settlement

Alternative dispute resolution according to Art. 14 para. 1 ODR-VO and Section 36 VSBG:

The presentation of the products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but a non-binding online catalog. By clicking the button "Order with payment" you place a binding order for the goods in the shopping cart. We will confirm receipt of your order immediately after you submit the order and this does not constitute acceptance of the contract. We can accept your order by sending an order confirmation by email or by delivering the goods within five days.

C) Promotional vouchers

The voucher code must be entered in the voucher field on the “Shipping/Payment” page during the ordering process and confirmed by clicking on the “Redeem” button.

If you return items from a promotion and the order value falls below the required value to qualify for the promotional bonus, the promotion and the entire credit amount will be forfeited.

Please also note that subsequent redemption of the voucher code is no longer possible for technical reasons.

Unless otherwise stated, the voucher code can be redeemed until midnight (CET) on the last day of the promotion.
